Cane Rosso

Boothe Architects was commissioned revitalize this abandoned 1950’s era building into a vibrant restaurant as part of the Modern Village Assemble located at 815 West Magnolia Avenue.  The building sat vacant for several years because it was out of character to the street and did not present itself to have any potential use with any character.  The design included a building addition that contemporized the front of the building and creating a landscaped patio for patron usage.  The original building was constructed as a Doctor’s office and had virtually no windows with low ceilings and a change in floor levels.  The street frontage was opened, and the glass tower installed utilizing an Encroachment Agreement to utilize a portion of the street frontage.  Planters, landscaping and front & rear patios were added to facilitate restaurant patronage
